The EL&R 500 is an Effects Loop and Reamper for 500 series racks. It allows you to Reamp a track by providing transformer coupled outputs that you can plug into your amp for mic'ed reamping. It also works as an Effects Loop, putting your pedalboard directly into the recording chain. The EL&R adds transformer warmth, provides two DC power outputs for your pedals, and gives you variable impedance matching.

For reamping an effects loop, assign the track to the 500 series input. Connect the EL&R output to your effects input and then the output of the effects to the input on the front panel of the EL&R. Record as you would any 500 series module.
